Position Description
Exciting Opportunity for School Nurse in Omaha, Nebraska!
Are you passionate about student health and wellness? Boys Town is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a School Nurse!
As a School Nurse, you will:
- Treat students for medical issues and implement programs for safe medication procedures.
- Coordinate routine health and wellness assessments and activities for students and school administration.
- Serve as a liaison on health-related information between family teachers and athletic staff.
- Provide emergency aid and early detection of physical problems.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and standards are followed.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Ability to obtain a School Nurse Endorsement from the Department of Education within 90 days of hire
- Current valid RN License
- CPR (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- School nurse experience preferred
